Most mugs with photos are manufactured in China. Mugs from Images-n-Stuff are made in Thailand – although they cost more for us to use, the Thai mugs are consistently higher quality, more uniform in size and shape and provide better color reproduction.
Photos are not just printed on the mug surface, but are embedded into the mug using a process that causes the inks to penetrate, resisting scratches and preventing the image from flaking or chipping. Each mug is carefully packed in a form-fitting Styrofoam shell to prevent damage during shipping. All our mugs are dishwasher and microwave-safe.
